Hi, I’m Alexa! I’m a physiotherapist born and raised in Mindemoya on Manitoulin Island, and I’m grateful to bring my clinical expertise back to the community that shaped me. As a clinician, my goal is to empower people with a deeper understanding of their bodies so we can work together toward pain-free, confident movement. I combine hands-on treatments such as manual therapy and acupuncture with movement-based and exercise therapies to support meaningful, lasting recovery.

I founded Island Roots Physiotherapy to offer person-centered, authentic care to my neighbours across Manitoulin. I’m truly excited to continue helping people move freely and feel at home in their bodies.
